Underworld Dungeon Quest Drops: Levels, Azrallik & Sets

Updated 2026-09-09 · Last verified 2026-09-09 · Roblox Dungeon Quest Reborn

The Underworld drops two Legendaries, Dual Phoenix Daggers for melee and the Phoenix Greatstaff for mage, plus Warrior, Mage and Guardian versions of the Glorious armor set. It is the fifth dungeon in Dungeon Quest Reborn, gated at level 80 on Insane and 85 on Nightmare, and it ends with Demon Lord Azrallik.

There is no Ultimate weapon here. That rarity starts at Enchanted Forest, eight dungeons later, so the Legendaries above are the ceiling of what this dungeon can hand you.

Difficulty does not change the pool. Insane and Nightmare drop the same Legendaries and the same set; Nightmare pays more gold and gives you an extra minute. For the same table across all 14 dungeons see drops by dungeon, and for the Legendary-versus-Ultimate split see legendaries.

The split time limit is unusual. Most dungeons run the same clock on both difficulties; the Underworld gives Nightmare an extra minute, which makes Nightmare the more forgiving run once you can survive it. Gates for every other dungeon are on the dungeon list.

The community wiki records the Underworld's date added as 28 April 2019. That is the original Dungeon Quest date rather than a Reborn one, in the same way early spell levels on this wiki are inherited from the original game; the Reborn release date for this dungeon is not separately documented.

Enemies

Three mob types, one more than most of the dungeons around it.

Demon WarriorMelee
Dark MageRanged
Elder Dark MageAoE

Per-mob health values for the Underworld have not been published. Only one dungeon on this wiki has them at all, Aquatic Temple; The Canals and Northern Lands are undocumented too, so this is not a 2019-era gap specifically, it is the default for almost every dungeon.

Mini-bosses

Two, which is the standard for this era of the game.

  • Demonic Overgrowth — uses a mix of random and targeted devilish attacks, and is defended by Blood Minions. Clear the minions or they keep the pressure on while you work the boss.
  • Kolvumar — chases players and leaves a fiery trail in its wake. The trail is the mechanic: do not run your party through the line you just made it draw.

Demon Lord Azrallik

The final boss. Azrallik uses large devilish attacks, and when he falls below half health he uses his heart to summon Blood Minions, the same minion type the Demonic Overgrowth uses earlier in the run. The half-health threshold is the moment the fight changes, so save cooldowns for it rather than dumping them on the opening phase.

His individual attack patterns are not documented. The community wiki's boss page has full attack-and-strategy write-ups only for the Sand Giant and the Ice Elemental at the time of writing, and Azrallik is not among them. Everything above is what the dungeon entry itself states; nothing further is estimated here.

Where the Underworld sits in progression

It is the middle of the early game. You arrive from King's Castle at level 80 wearing Titan-forged, and you leave for Samurai Palace at 90 wearing Glorious.

StepDungeonInsane / NightmareWhat you take out
BeforeKing's Castle70 / 75Titan-forged sets, Beastmaster scythes
HereThe Underworld80 / 85Glorious sets, Phoenix Legendaries
AfterSamurai Palace90 / 95Ancestral sets, Sakura weapons

Three things worth knowing before you commit runs to it:

  1. The Legendaries are C tier. Dual Phoenix Daggers and the Phoenix Greatstaff sit with the Samurai Palace and King's Castle Legendaries on the tier list. Because weapon power in this game tracks the dungeon a weapon came from far more than its rarity, chase the Phoenix pair only until Samurai Palace opens at 90, then stop and move up. Full weapon ordering is on the weapons page.
  2. Wave Defence works here. It is available on legacy Desert Temple through The Canals, which includes the Underworld. Loot drops every 15 waves, so it is a steadier way to farm the Glorious set than re-running Azrallik each time.
  3. Buy Extra Item early if you are going to buy it. It adds one item to every dungeon clear, Wave Defence milestone and Boss Raid. Gamepass prices rise every ten levels, and level 80 is cheap relative to where you are heading.

For a mage, the Underworld slot in the build is simply Phoenix Greatstaff plus the Glorious Mage set, picking up Infernal Orbs on the way through; the spell is filler until Enchanted Shuriken drops at Samurai Palace.

Not yet documented

  • Azrallik's attack list and dodge patterns.
  • Mob and boss health values for this dungeon.
  • Gold per clear on Insane and Nightmare.
  • Room count and layout.

These are treated as unknown here rather than estimated, and this page is updated as they are confirmed.

Frequently asked questions

What are the Underworld drops in Dungeon Quest?

The Underworld drops two Legendaries: Dual Phoenix Daggers for melee builds and the Phoenix Greatstaff for mage builds. Like every dungeon it also drops Warrior, Mage and Guardian versions of its own armor set family, which here is the Glorious set. It has no Ultimate weapon - those start at Enchanted Forest. Insane and Nightmare share the same drop list.

What level do you need for the Underworld in Dungeon Quest Reborn?

Level 80 for Insane and level 85 for Nightmare. The Underworld is one of the few dungeons whose two difficulties have different time limits: 10 minutes on Insane and 11 minutes on Nightmare. The next dungeon, Samurai Palace, opens at level 90.

Who is the boss of the Underworld in Dungeon Quest Reborn?

Demon Lord Azrallik. He uses large devilish attacks, and when he falls below half health he uses his heart to summon Blood Minions. Two mini-bosses come before him: the Demonic Overgrowth, which mixes random and targeted attacks and is defended by its own Blood Minions, and Kolvumar, which leaves a fiery trail behind it while chasing players.

Where do Glorious sets drop in Dungeon Quest Reborn?

The Underworld, the fifth dungeon. It drops the Glorious Warrior, Glorious Mage and Glorious Guardian sets, one for each class, on both Insane and Nightmare. Glorious is the set you want to be wearing when you enter Samurai Palace at level 90.

Does the Underworld have an Ultimate weapon?

No. Ultimate is a rarity one tier above Legendary and it exists in only two dungeons, Enchanted Forest and Northern Lands, for four Ultimates in total. Every dungeon from Desert Temple through Aquatic Temple, the Underworld included, tops out at Legendary.

Are Dual Phoenix Daggers good in Dungeon Quest Reborn?

Only inside their own level bracket. Dual Phoenix Daggers and the Phoenix Greatstaff sit in C tier, alongside the Samurai Palace and King's Castle Legendaries. They are the best thing you can hold around level 80 to 90 and dead weight by the time The Canals opens, because weapon power in this game is decided mostly by which dungeon a weapon drops from.
